Hello everyone!

I have a situation where I am going to need Delta B-Phase for roughly six months or so and then switch it over to a Wye configuration. I was thinking I could install some type of slug "dummy fuse" for the B Phase until I need to convert it to the Wye configuration. Is this possible to do? Is it safe?

Any solutions help!

Thanks!

I do not understand what a "Delta B phase" means. I also don't understand what you mean by a dummy fuse, and why would you install one?
I think the OP is referring to the rule that there cannot be OCPD in a grounded conductor unless it also opens all ungrounded conductors.
If using a three phase fused disconnect, that would require replacing one fuse with a shunt.
