Hello.

Have an entire floor being fed by (4) 42ckt panels. Mostly all 1P-20A circuits.

The entire space is being gutted and the electrician will disconnect and safe off circuits for laborers or demo contractor to rip out along with panels.

When the electrician is identifying circuits as being “dead”/”safed off” does that identification have to be done out in the field at multiple locations/boxes or just at the panel?

Thanks

LOTO says you only need to tag the most upstream disconnecting device(s).

Is there stuff passing through that floor that will remain, or is it literally everything going away?

If everything is going, I'd disconnect the feeders to those 4 panels and mark the panels as dead and ok to demo, and be done.

Nothing passing through. Entire floor gutted.
