Has anyone done a slab in a dentist office? I have floor boxes in patient care areas feeding dental chairs. According to 517.13 it must be in metal raceway. I can't find any reference to "slabs" So my thought is this...
PVC to the nearest wall within 6'of the patient vicinity, stub up in ridgid, bond bushing to bond metal box...liquidtight to the floor box. Or since the patient vicinity does not go below floor level( 517.2 definitions) can I use pvc under ground to a floor box and if so how could I comply with 517.13 (a)? Also what is ment by "Fixed electrical equipment"? Is this our equipment (ie disconnects, ect..?) or medical equipment any thoughts would be gratly appreceated
thanks
