We installed a roof mounted PV system the terminations in the combiner box are 60* rated. We also have derated for current carrying conductors in a raceway. We have used #10 wire and it is on 15 amp fuses(DC rated) with no more than 8 wires in the raceway. The ambient temperture is the question we are in eastern Va.

If you are under the 2008 NEC you would also need to take into account 310.15(B)(2)(c) for conductors installed on a rooftop.

You can still get the ambient temperature for you area from the ASHREA handbook fundamentals.
Under the 2005 you must still use the correction factors of Table 310.16 for the ambient temperature of the area you are installing the conductors.
