A flush ceiling mount light fixture is marked for use with 2 ea. 100 Watt bulbs max and 90 degree C wire in the junction box. With 25 C ambient, the thermal resistance is calculated at (90-25)/200 = 0.33 degrees C per watt. Can this fixture safely be used with 60 C wire and 2 ea. bulbs of no more than 50 Watts?
