In the example problem D5(a) in the 2002 NEC, the Neutral Conductor size for the Feeder for each dwelling unit is derated. This seems contradictory to the last sentence in Article 220.22 and to my understanding of 3 phase, 4 wire wye connected services (in appears to me the example problem is using two phase conductors and the neutral, which would not allow derating of the neutral)????
