Does any one have any good books/manuals for design methods? (Ones that have the NEC implemented?) I'm looking for non-dwelling.

Re: Design Methods.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for but...I have a good book that walks you through the design of a commercial project for power and lighting. It's writen by Ayraud and Thumann titled, "Introduction to Efficient Electrical Systems Design" It's a bit dated but a good starting point as to what to expect, time req'd, design conciderations etc. I'm sure Mike Holt has some lit. too. Best of luck.

Re: Design Methods.

I have one titled "Handbook Of Practical Electrical Design", authored by Joe McPartland, published by McGraw-Hill. The printing I have is 1995, but it's a popular book that I suspect is still available. Very good book if you're looking for something that is equal parts engineering (without a lot of complicated theory) and NEC appplication.

Re: Design Methods.

I have Stallcup's Electrical Design Book, and it has proven very useful but is also lacking in some respects. Goes for about $55. ;)
