I have an application for 500 thhn Green/Yellow Stripe. We have recieved the material without the stripe and I want to install it anyway. What reference can I refer the inspectors to within the NEC or UL that can verify Green only. The purpose of the Yellow stripe is it's a Jamaican Hotel and the installation is European. What reference can you provide?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Typically NEC compliant installations can use green or green/yellow stripe interchangeably.

You are correct, however I need a reference for these gents to reference. Currently I'm sending them Article 250.119

If this project is of European design they may be wanting it to meet the European stands specifically IEC 60446 which calls for green with yellow stripe as the earth contductor. Just what standards are they wanting to adhere to?
