detached garage

I've got a detached garage with two 20amp branch circuits from main house. Old construction with no ground to garage. Main house panel has been upgraded with grounded system and ground rod. I'm going to pull #12 ground wire to garage and connect to receptical circuits. The other end to main panel ground bar. Do I also need ground rod at garage?
