Deteriorating MC-Lite Cable

I have recently come across a new construction project where a new blow in style, exterior wall insulation is deteriorating the armor of mc lite cable to the point where there is a liquid oily substance slowly seeping from the exterior receptacle device box. The project is approximately 1 year after completion. The owner has removed a section of the exterior wall and the mc cable armor has simply deteriorated.

Obvisiously there is some problem with this insulation being highly acidic.

I was wondering if any others members have come across this situation or something similiar.

It would be nice if you would please post the insulation type. Pics would be great too. I haven't run into this and I'm very curious.

Are you sure this is coming from the blown-in insulation?

Several years ago I had problems with THHN "leaking oil". It turns out the the conductor manufacturer had a problem with the plasticizer that is used to make the PVC insulation. The plasticizer did not set correctly and ran out the end of the conductors. End result was replacing many panelboards, breakers and 1000's of feet of conductors.
