determine existing loads

looked a potential job this morning, people have plans for a nice in ground pool and some additional lighting for a small basketball court. what would be the best way to determine or best to find out if the exsting 200amp service would be sufficient? been on jobs where this had been figured but never had to do it on my own yet. panel is completely filled.

I wouldn’t use this months, no matter what the NEC says.
best to use a years peak rather than a shoulder month..

No, I mean just don’t use this particular month..
I use utility peaks for loads all the time.
We keep them on file for a year and give the yearly peaks to electricians and HOs all the time..

Yep. Methinks that's a better option! If you don't know a specific thing, ask from the utility!
