I work in an consulting firm in CA. As I need to go to site survey for some tenant improvement projects, I found sometimes it is really hard to know the panel size because the old panel does not show any brand and size.
Therefore, I have to determine the panel size from the feeder size.
For example, if the feeder size is #1 AWG, the panel size is probably 100 Amps.
Therefore, I need your advice that how to determine the feeder size.
PE in my company just suggest me to use a A3 paper to mark the Perimeter of the feeder. Is there any other suggestion?
Thanks for all your advice!
