this is probably a easy question, I have never been asked this, I am installing 4 square metal boxes in a 2 hour fire wall, applied putty pads where required, on boxes that did not need putty pad's the AHJ asked if the boxes being used are UL fire rated and listed. I don't know, is a standard 4sq box meet that? I looked in the UL white book and cannot find anything.

In addition to what Roger posted, the IBC Section 714.3.2 Exception 1. addresses penetrations of a maximum 2 hour rated wall by steel electrical boxes.
