I have a Dewalt DC527 can someone test the insert ports of the lamp base...

I think the problem is in the switch and frankly I'm avoiding cracking it, just yet

My Dewalt batteries are reading 20.V, I was just wondering before chasing after a bulb or QA'n it ...

Any Help, thanks ...

It takes a standard 13 watt 2 pin CFL that is on the shelf anywhere, I would just try a new lamp.

I have the same light and I like it a lot, has not died on me yet. The 'ballast' looks special and probably cost more then a whole new light.

Cool, But mine is a four pin :-? 13W 4100k is printed on the lamp base!

I'll try it out thanks !

YES, I do like mine too! I hate being in the dark, and it serves up a lot of light!

Here is the specs on the bulb:
Sylvania 20318 - CF13DS/E/841 - 13 Watt - 4 Pin 2GX7 Base - 4100K - CFL

Other manufactures also make them, the pins are inline not like the G24 type base found in more common type 4-pin fixtures.

also remember these do not dim as the battery gets weaker, they just shut off, so remember to keep a spare battery on hand if your in a place you need light for safety or you could find your self in the dark:wink:

I love mine
