does anyone know if we can down stream these with 3 prong receptacles on a old two wire circuit, like we do with regular GFCI receptacles? thanks

406.4(D)(2)(c) and 406.4(D)(4) work hand-in-glove, in my opinion, when the dual function AF/GF receptacle is installed as a replacement for an existing two wire receptacle on an ungrounded wiring method. Any down stream receptacles can be replaced with grounding types, per 406.4(D)(2)(c), and they all get labeled NO EQUIPMENT GROUND, and, also, the down stream receptacles get labeled GFCI PROTECTED.

Such labeling means nothing to the users, only thing it may be good for is to give some indication to an electrician that they may need to look for GFCI (or AFCI if that would ever come up) that might be tripped somewhere.

If they want to require labels that are useful to end users, they should require them to say - "if this receptacle does not work, check to make sure receptacle located XXXXXX....XX.....XXXXXX is not tripped".

Would you just write that in permanent marker on the wall next to the receptacle? Seems like a mouthful.
