Dialysis the one hemodialysis outpatient in Nec handbook healthcare facilties section under blue comment says as ambulatory and says to referred to nfpa 99. However if AHJ electrical is enforcing NEC and not NFPA 99 blue comments cannot be enforced. Provide enforcable defintion of hemodialysis outpatient clinic as ambulatory in NEC. NEC defines hemodialysis units on critical branch eleswhere in code but outpatient hemodialysis as ambulatory is not enforcable by NEC.
