I have a control panel that was operating correctly for over a year. There were bad thunderstorms, and then the control panel stopped working correctly. The fuse protecting the control panel has blown, and two separate components on the control panel are fried.
I believe it could have been caused by lightning because it coincided with thunderstorms, and 2 components were affected and not just one. There are 10 similar components on the control panel, but only two were affected. Is it reasonable to think that lightning could cause this?
