Ok, so I am in the process of wiring my diesel tank (8k and 1k compacity) transfer pumps back up after placing them in the containment walls as per EPA regulations.

The MSDS for my diesel shows the FP @ 125* and according to NFPA 30 #2 diesel is not classified as flammable. So if I am right, #2 diesel does not fall under class 1 2 or 3 as far as hazardous locations per NFPA 30.

So in this case would I be OK to use rigid metal conduit and regular rigid couplings? Also I would just need to add an emergency fuel shut off switch somewhere between the breaker and pump.
