Diesel Storage / Filling

I've had a question about the wiring requirements for an above ground diesel storage/filling tank. I've poured over the 500 articles in the 2017 NEC and cannot find anything that seems to address this question.

The pump needs 120v circuit and I don't know if any special requirements are needed. I welcome any input on this matter.

Diesel fuel does not make a classified (hazardous) area. No special requirements from the 500 articles would apply. Now if you ever want to put gasoline in your storage tank, that would require special wiring methods.

There is the potential problem, have gasoline tank or dispenser in the vicinity you may still have hazardous location. If you have diesel only you don't have a hazardous location.
