Do you need to entertain anything other than Chapt 3 wiring methods on a diesel tank/pump ?

They can be a tough crowd, and there may be a few hecklers, but Chapter 3 wiring methods are just fine if diesel is all that's involved. You may need to give special consideration to Section 300.6 but even that's a stretch.

Just make sure you are not within hazardous location boundaries if there happens to be gasoline in the same vicinity, like multiple product dispensers at a filling station.
