Where does the code address the installation of conductors from different panels that are installed in the same box or enclosure? What are the potential problems associated with this kind of installation? The panels are of the same voltage.

The code does not address this - as it is not an issue... What the code does address - is conductors of different voltages, and different transformers of the same voltage, and even then the only issue is identification of the conductors of each transformer/system.

The fact remains - it is easy, and common to put conductors of different panels, and even different transformers in the same enclosures - despite the myths...
