The Bridgeport 1" To 1" Combination EMT To IMC Or Rigid Raintight Transition Coupling joins 3/4" EMT to 3/4" intermediate metal conduit or rigid in a wet location. A compression end secures EMT while NPT threads secure IMC or rigid.
Use Bridgeport RTNPT fittings to install a listed connection between EMT and threaded hubs in wet locations. RTNPT assemblies have been specifically listed for connecting EMT to threaded entries and conduit bodies for a raintight seal.
I have seen the threads on this but..father I must confess.. I have sinned
I still just use raintight EMT fittings,
one of the brands has a yellow washer I try to get that brand and never enter the top.
I also drill small drain holes in bell boxes.
I mostly do commercial and residential.
If I had to go into a fancy nema 4x control panel I would certainly order some nice fittings to preserve the rating.
