I have been asked a question about a lighting system on which I have limited information.
My understanding is that this is a listed lighting system. The fixtures are LED, and, I understand the supply wires to the fixture are 120v.
The supply is controlled by a "dimming panel" and there is also a low voltage cable from the panel to each fixture.
The contractor wants to install the low voltage cable in the same raceway as the line conductors.
As I say, I am short on info, but from what I've been told the LV is Class 2.
My opinion based on the limited info is that the cables can not share the same raceway.
Is anyone familiar with such a lighting system ? Opinions on mixing
the cables are appreciated.
