Dimmable Fluorescent Fixtures

Can anyone recommend a decent T5, dimmable fluorescent strip light fixture, single or dual bulb? Also, looking for such in a 2-wire type ballast.

Looking for lengths of 2 to 4 feet.

ON A service call to replace 277v 2-lamp t-8 ballast, I normally expect to find the a contant power wire and a dimmer control wire. I found in the fixture that the power wire and dimmer control wire from the ballast tied together to the dimmer switchleg ?? I asked the maint-man and he said it has been that way for twenty years.
I replaced the old ballasts with new ones, capped off the control wire and it works fine???
