When I am transitioning underground from UF cable to pipe, do I have to use a sealed bushing?

If I understand you question then the answer is, No. The only thing UF requires to be buried is dirt on top of it. Are you asking about changing from UF to another wiring method that requires conduit?
Perhaps he is asking about physical protection with conduit when emerging from grade. See 300.5(D) through (J).
