I am doing 4 new units (2) buildings with (2) units each stacked on top of each other. I know since they are separate structures from the building with the meters . I need to put disconnects on the sub panels. We are limited on space due to the sub panels not coming with main breakers so can I put a 100 amp disconnect switches on the outside of the building where the conduit and Jbox are feeding the units, to control the sub panels inside the units.
Thanks for any help Dustin

I see no reason why you couldn't do that as long as the tenants have access to the disconnects. You might check and see if the panels you bought can have a 100 amp back fed breaker installed in them.

I am assuming no meters are involved as you are running 4 feeders to the new buildings?
