a breaker from the main service panel will feed a step down transferomer rated at 480 3phase 75 kva primary to 208/ 120 3phase . the 208 panel will have a main breaker .is a disconnect also reqired at the transformer for the 480 line. the transformer is about 80 ft from the service panel. i couldnot find anywhere in the code where a 2nd disconnect wold be required for the480 line for the transfprmer. since there is a main disconnect on the 208 panel.

No you do not need a disconnecting means at the transformer on the primary side.

as long as the OCP in the service panel meets 450.3, you are good to go.
