Disconnect Requirement for HVAC Equipment?

I'm working on a design where the AHU and Condensing Unit will both be located no more than 10 feet and within site of their respective panelboards. Provided circuit protection is sized and rated in accordance with the HVAC manufacturer, can I eliminate separate non-fused service disconnects for each and use HVAC rated circuit breakers in each panelboard to serve as circuit protection and the service disconecting means?

The manufacturer cutsheets for both state "MAX FUSE** or CKT BRK AMPS" with the ** indicating time-delay fuses. Thanks Chris!! Have a good one!:grin:
