Disconnect Switch A/C Unit

Installing 30-Ton HVAC System in data center.

The unit has internal disconnect that the main feeder connects ( Non-Fused) Code how I read it dictates that there must be a external means of disconnecting / shuting power off to unit for maintenace.

440.14 "....The disconecting means shall be permitted to be installed on or within the air-conditioning or refrigerating equipment."
So long as this internal disconnect meats the requirements of 440.12, it would be acceptable.
