Does a sub-panel in a detached garage need a main disconnect -even though the feeder is protected from the main at the house- in case you need to shut off power to garage for emergency?? Also do you need a switch or disconnect to cut power even if your feeding the detached garage with one branch circuit? Please quote nec article that covers this ..
