DISCONNECTING MEANS AND READILY ACCESSIBLE

I HAVE SEVERAL REFRIGERATOR UNITS TO HOOKUP IN A STORE. EXAMPLE REACH IN AND OPEN DISPLAY CASES. UNITS ARE 120V/ 20A CIRCUITS. PANEL IS NOT WITHIN SIGHT. AM I REQUIRED TO INSTALL DISCONNECTING MEANS FOR EACH UNIT AND BE READILY ACCESSIBLE. APPRECIATE SOME INSIGHT

I believe cord and plug is acceptable means of disconnecting. Perhaps there are breakers or discos inside the unit cabinets. I've been in many grocery stores and never seen disconnecting means outside of the units.

Yes I see I can go with 422.31B. No breakers or discos inside units. Thanks for your input
