To follow up on my thread "Inductive Kickback Shielding on Adjacent GFCI Circuit" , I ran across this discussion:


My takeaway from this is that due to length of this GFCI branch (> 80 ft) , I may have to abandon the panel GFCI breaker in favor of a plain breaker , signal-condition at the home run, and start GFCI protection as far downstream as I can.

Our involvement does not include engineering fixes for poorly designed equipment. If when everything is installed according to manufacturers instruction, something does not work it's on the manufacturer of the particular appliance or equipment to find out why and come up with a possible fix. Usually that falls on deaf ears and the only remedy is to not use that appliance or equipment and replace it with something that does work.

This is starting to get into giving DIY advice now.
