Interesting article Mr Gar. , some relevance presented>

Clinical imaging systems typically have field strengths up to 3T (1T = 10,000 Gauss, for reference the Earth’s magnetic field ≈ 0.5 Gauss)

Also, much focus on Hz followed....

My query (and it may be a lame one) is, does the earth have a frequency?

As spock would say....fascinating K8 .....so now i wonder if living things do better at Shumann HZ, or maybe can't operate at all w/o it....?

If we are still talking about the earths magnetic field, there is no frequency. Its DC, with north on the top and south on the bottom.

"Schumann Resonance" refers to the frequency of the electromagnetic field of the earth. That's not the same as the 10 Hz resonance of the Earth that Tesla discovered.

So you are saying the magnetic field of the earth is AC? Please explain.

I believe most recent 1/2 half cycle was about 700,000 years, but within that period there is variation.

I'll buy that. That's a frequency of about 2.5x10-14. Can we call that DC, at least compared to a persons lifetime?

Back in high school or junior college I had to do a physics experiment to measure the earth's magnetic field intensity. I don't know where to find that experiment at this time.

I was surprised when I recently had my granddaughter run the same kind of experiment. The present day measurement was much lower than what I thought I remembered from my old experiment.
