We recently wired a dishwasher with a separate 20 amp circuit and connected it to a combination GFI Arc breaker.
We installed a wall switch below the sink as instructed by other inspectors.
My inspector wants my to install a GFI receptacle below the sink and an appliance cord for the dishwasher.
He will not allow a single pole switch under the sink. When I told him we already had GFI protection at the breaker he said he would not allow this, it must be a GFI receptacle under the sink.
What do you guys think. I think the code also allows a breaker lock to be used as a disconnect. The kind of breaker lock one can put a lock on.
