Distance between Generator & Oil filling

Dear All,

in my yard one DG of 380 KV is running. adjacent of Generator there is oil (hydrolic oil. engine oil)filling station stablished. distance between generator and oil station is only one foot (12 inch). Is it correct? if not what should be minimum distance? is generator can run near by station or should be moved away.....

if possible please give refrence also...

There are many generators with built in "belly tanks" and the fill pipe right under the generator. Diesel fuel is probably more dangerous than those oils you have listed. I have never heard of a restriction on this subject.
