Does anyone know what code covers how far away from the edge of the dock on the waterside you’re allowed to put the electrical pedestal for them to plug their boats into?
I’m not sure if there is a maximum distance, you’re allowed to be away from the edge of the water. Obviously, while the boat is plugged in, you’re gonna have an electrical cord ran across the dock going to the pedestal, which will create a trip hazard or a dangerous situation.
The location is South Florida.
The blue dots are where the owner wants to put the pedestals. Normally, we put them. About a foot from the edge of the water.
