Hi all,
i am uncertain of this condition and i thought i would ask for help.
We have installed a disconnect for a transformer (100 amp) and it is in place.
Engineering has now told us that they plan to add an electrical control pane of some type next to the disconnect.
the distance from the edge of the disconnect to the edge of the new control panel is approximately 1/2 inch.
if i were to try to operate the 100 amp disconnect, i would be touching the side of the new control panel.
is there any rule that specifies the minimum distance between the transformer disconnect and the proposed control panel?
i would prefer 15 inches.
thanks in advance,
philip
