Do outdoor post lighting need to be GFCI

Hello,

I have about 1000 feet of existing 10/2 for post lighting on a dedicated 20 amp breaker if I insure all new cables that I splice on to get up into the sauna tube and post are 24 inch deep in ground do I have to GFCI this circuit I really don’t want to because of tripping.

From what you said, no GFCI required for the underground run.

Yes it’s gonna be 2ft deep and enter the light through the post footing thanks for your help !!
