Do stickers need to be listed?

Dumb question: Do the code required labels need to be listed or printed on listed material, or printed on listed material only with the material manufacturer's printer? Or is any durable outdoor label material acceptable?

I think any durable material will suffice. I base that on NEC's listing:

That's right, I've had an inspector say that when we painted fire alarm boxes.

Also, if you paint a PV inverter apparently you void its listing. This came up for the company I was with a few years ago where the customer did not like the bright red color of his inverters. He wanted us to paint them, but when we checked with the inverter company that is what they told us.

I could see that if you're painting a heatsink used for passive cooling.
