That's what I thought. dang itIf they are genuine Arlington NM94 two cables are permitted. If they are a knockoff you would need to follow the manufactures instructions.
I do, all day long. There's never enough knock outs in a panel to accommodate all the circuits required today.Do you put two nm romex wires in yours?
I once did three, neatly, but the inspector said only two.Do you put two nm romex wires in yours?
Or have you had an inspector tell you that was not allowed?
The split one is CUL listed also that's why they changed the one box connector to it.They also make a "splitter" version but as @curt swartz says, the standard NM94 works for 2 cables.![]()

Only time I've done this is with 3/4 inch and one in connectors but I really try not to and there are a few oddball connectors that are listed for this number even up to 10 12-2 In an 1 1/4 but they're hard to track and I'd rather do something else to be compliant.I once did three, neatly, but the inspector said only two.
I made them each two, then went home and checked: one.
I was cool with two after that.

Yes arlington makes it.I'm sorry what?! Did I read that correctly? You're saying there is an 1.25" connector that is listed for (10) 12-2 NM in a single connector?! As in 30 conductors?
