doctors office exam room in slab roughin

i failed an inspection for exan rm. in slab rough I used pvc boxes and pipe. the inspector says only metal boxes and rigid is allowed in exam rooms. I cannot find it in the code book. Please help.

Welcome to the forum. Your answer is 517.13(A) He is wrong about only RMC being allowed though.

thank you for your help but look at 517-13b methods

517.13(B) (BTW what year NEC are you using?) is in addition to 517.13(A), it doesn't relieve the requirements of 517.13(A)

517.13 Grounding of Receptacles and Fixed Electric Equipment in Patient Care Areas
Wiring in patient care areas shall comply with 517.13(A) and 517.13(B).

i wasnt there to meet the inspector but thanks for all the help. looks like ill be replacing the pvc.
