The state website states that one must: "Complete at least 8,000 hours of service as a licensed apprentice or helper and satisfactorily complete a program of study comprising 576 hours as approved by the Electricians' Examining Board or from an accredited institution."
How do you go about documenting hours worked when your job isn't fully electrical work?
I am an electrical engineering technician in a factory, and while my primary job is electrical troubleshooting, installation, repair, maintenance... I will often be called out to help with other issues that are mechanical in nature instead. I just got my helper's license since I am not in an official apprenticeship.
I want to make sure to document my hours properly, so just going by my paystub doesn't feel right here. What's the best way of doing this?
