Hi,

Im in the process of wiring up my small shed to just run off generator power. Some basic tools, lights, etc. I started making a list of what i needed when I remembered I have a transfer switch kit lying around that wasnt used on a previous project.

Rather than wiring the transfer switch to the main electrical panel (which Id have to buy), is it not possible to just wire up my outlets from the transfer switch wires? The shed wont be hooked up to the electrical grid, so generator only. The transfer switch has breakers already, its a reliance 306CRK Pro/Tran-2. I cant see that there would be any benefit to running to a main panel, in this scenario. But wanted to see what others thought.

Thanks
