Does the NEC require a housekeeping Pad for MCC's?

I can not locate any reference in the NEC to require a housekeeping pad for MCC equipment. The actual MCC room is all ready at a higher elevation than the processing room. Thanks for any comments.:confused:

Unless the requirement is part of the listing or in the instructions for the equipment I would agree with Don. Having said that, we install them usually when they're specified by the designer or the client.

Housekeeping pads are nice to have so you can hose down the floor without having to worry so much about getting water into the MCC.

But they are not required.
