Door Switch for MRI Room

I'm wiring a veterinary facility that includes an MRI room. I have to provide a door switch to act as an interlock so the MRI can't operate if the door is open. It can't be a jamb switch (special shielded door and frame, cant cut) and it can't be a magnetic contact. The door swings into the room and this gets mounted on the outside. The MRI installer couldn't point me towards anything specific, just that it needs to be mechanical, and I'm coming up empty-handed searching for something purpose-made.

I might be overthinking it. Is this as simple as a limit switch with an adjustable roller arm, or is there a better solution for this scenario?

There are limit switches intended to work on swing style "safety gates" so they are a little harder to defeat rather than simple lever style switches.

Would a plunger style limit work?

Might be a bit less bulky than having an an arm type.
