A couple days ago we talked about checking conduit size ect on the plans. (can't find thread)
Saw this yesterday, these are plans for a 350 gen. 480/277 from a very good PE.

Note 2 (B): Contractor shall furnish and install separately derived generator grounding system per NEC 250.20(D).

Note 10: New 1000 amp. 277/480 volt, 3 pole, service rated automatic transfer switch with ground fault protection.

These are not in the general notes area but are specific to these plans.

I'd submit an RFI, but it appears that the engineer had a lapse in thinking for a moment, these two notes definitely conflict.

I fired off a fax this morning and he got back it was a mistake. I just want to stress how important it is to review all plans. If the EE makes a mistake, the installer should catch it.(or look really incompetent)

Curiously: how did he word the correction?

The way they usually do. Some one that doesn't work there any more drew up the plans and now "I" have it.
These guys a the sharpest EE's I know.(The PE's on this forum are sharper!)
This job was designed for a future larger Gen-Set.(SDS). Just an oversight.
