Double Lugging a Main CB?

I am feeding 120V, 2W, 100A from a UPS to a 120/240V panel. The customer wants to use a main circuit breaker. I want to use MLO. The UPS has a circuit breaker feeding this panel. The problem I have using the MCB in the panel is that I would be double lugging one terminal to install the jumper. Does anyone see a problem with this? The customer is specifying 1/0 cable for the feeder conductors. The panel is Cutler-Hammer. The MCB that the customer wants to use is 100A, 2P, BAB.

You're not going to be able to double-lug that breaker. It's not rated for it. The solution is pretty easy, however. Run your line conductor straight through one port of a 2-port Polaris bug and into the breaker. Run your second conductor out of the other port of the Polaris bug. The CH panel has tons of room between the end of the panel and the main breaker, so you'll have no trouble at all doing this.
