Anyone:
can I double lug the load side lugs of an Automatic Transfer Switch (260A) in lieu of using a wireway downstream form those load side lugs. The two prospective set of feeders will serve a panelboard and a dry-type/panelboard respectively.

No life safety issues in this case. This equipment has not been installed and double lugs, I suppose, may be specified.

thanks

You might be able to, but maybe not. The post needs additional information before it can be answered. Are the lugs rated for double wires? Do you have issues with various emergency functions such as in hospitals?

If the lugs are listed for two sets of conductors, then the runs to the two panels sound like they would be taps. You would be limited to the tap rules in Article 240.
