Double Tapped Breakers in a branch circuit panel

Is a UL listed product that solves the double lugging/double tapped issue?
It's everywhere and I know we can't use wirenuts to pigtail wires into a 20amp circuit breaker. I've heard people talking about somekind of wire connector that has one connection point on one end (attaches to the breaker) and 2 connection points on the other end (to safely terminate two circuits). Let me know if this is true and if so where can I find this product.

Read 110.14(A) for where more than one conductor can be installed under one lug, otherwise just splice the wires with any approved method in the enclosure, see 312.8 and read it closely.

If you spliced two wires with a wirenut and connected to one circuit breaker, that would be one circuit.

Welcome to the forum. That may have been the case many years ago with older breaker panels that didn't have enough trough space but today's modern day panels have enough trough space to make splices and it is allowed. If you are using the "clamp-down" type breakers where they use a pressure plate you can insert two wires (one on each side of the screw) per breaker.
 
Check the installation instructions about placing two wires on a breaker. Wire usually have to be of equal size and material.
 
That is correct. I forgot to mention that and just made an assumption that it was understood. But, then again wouldn't it br incorrect to splice a #14 and #12 together and put the tail on a 20 amp breaker ?

I agree but just for fun you could use a split bolt cu/al and use some exceptions of art 430 and 440 and install on 20 amp breaker. :smile:

It would be incorrect in most instances.
