Hello all,
When doubling up the neutral and ground in panels years ago, it was acceptable.
Or at least I passed many inspections doing so. (70's 80's)
I was wondering why home inspectors make this neutral/ground in one hole a violation.
Wouldn't it be grandfathered in.
I received an answer that it was always a violation that the panel was listed and labeled. If so why didn't inspectors or anyone pick up on it. Did they list and say separate holes for neutrals? I don't think todays panels even say separate holes for neutrals.
Thank you
